The Commonwealth Government offers financial assistance for rural and remote procedural and emergency medicine GPs to access skills maintenance and upskilling activities.

Grants are available to General Practices and locums who practice obsetrics, anaesthetics, surgery and/or emergency medicine in rural and remote areas.
