Immunisation Resources

GP down south is committed to improving the childhood immunisation rates within the Peel and South West regions. Our aim is to achieve an immunisation rate of equal to or greater than 90% for each practice registered with GPII .

The Australian Vaccination Schedule 2009 (See resources below) indicates the recommended immunisations for Australian children. Ensuring that children are up to date with their vaccinations helps protect them from the disease and it also helps protect the rest of the community.

The information sheet 'Increasing Childhood Immunisation Rates' provides tips and tasks to increase rates, and the 'Catch Up' sheet provides you with the resources to calculate a catch up program for a child that is overdue. (See resources below)

The GPII 20A report is sent to each Practice quarterly. This document enables Practices to recall those patients that are overdue for immunisations. For advice on how to use this report please download 'Understanding GPII20A' from the Resource section at the bottom of the page.

Further resources that are commonly used in the General Practice setting are listed in the Immunisation Resources section below.
