GP down south

GP down south (Peel South West Division of General Practice) was established in 1993.  It covers an area of 23,954 km2 across the Peel, Vasse Leeuwin, Warren / Blackwood and Wellington / Harvey regions of the South West of Western Australia.

GP down south has an estimated resident population of 147,953 (PHIDU, 2007).  From 2001 to 2005, the average growth rate of the population was 3.6%, around double that of country WA and WA.
